Ulster v Munster: European heartbreak parked as province look to secur…

Ulster don’t have long to dwell on their Heineken Champions Cup exit as they return to United Rugby Championship action on Friday with an inter-provincial against Munster at Ravenhill (7.35pm).

he southern province arrive in Belfast just three points behind Dan McFarland’s side in the race for the top play-off spots, with Ulster currently holding the advantage in second place.

Only seven points separate Ulster in second and the eighth-placed Cell C Sharks, meaning every point matters – and with only one trophy to win this season the pressure is on Ulster to wrap up home advantage by to the semi-finals.

consequently, McFarland has gone complete strength for the inter-pro, making just three changes to the team that lost to Toulouse last week as Stewart Moore, Matty Rea and Jordi Murphy are introduced.
