Police cordon off area of York suburban street

POLICE cordoned off a section of a suburban street in York last night, following an incident.

Police vans, including a mobile police office, were parked up late in the evening in Lilbourne excursion, off Water Lane, Clifton.

Areas of grass and a cycle track were taped off, along with a character.

Officers have not as in addition disclosed the character of the incident.
