BBC Weather Cambridgeshire: When 19C weather will return to your town

For a while now, it has felt as if autumn has arrived with a vengeance.

Rain has fallen across Cambridgeshire in recent days, making it a colorless start to the month and bringing an end to summer.

The nights are drawing in and temperatures have dropped, marking a move to the colder seasons.

However, according to the latest BBC forecast, many places around Cambridgeshire can expect sunny weather in the coming days.

Sunny intervals will persist for much of the next two weeks.

And though the temperatures may not be at summer levels, there will be some sun to lift spirits.

Below, we take a look at when you can expect sun in various places across the county.

Cambridge

According to the latest BBC Weather forecast, Cambridge can expect sunny intervals tomorrow (October 4).

Highs of 16C are expected, which will be accompanied by a moderate breeze.

Rain is expected to return on Tuesday (October 5), before an extended sunny spell begins on Wednesday (October 6).

Temperatures of 18C and 19C can also be expected as we head into the weekend, while sunny intervals are forecast for the entirety of the following week.

Friday October 8 is expected to be the hottest day, when highs of 19C are set to hit.

Peterborough

BBC forecasts 16C highs in Peterborough tomorrow, with the forecast reading ‚Äúsunny intervals and a moderate breeze”.

Like in Cambridge, the second half of next week and entirety of the week after should see plenty of sun, with temperatures remaining between 16C and 19C.

Like Cambridge, Peterborough can expect highs of 19C on October 8.

Huntingdon

It’s also a similar forecats for Huntingdon.

Heavy rain is forecast on Tuesday (October 5), but Monday (October 4) and the rest of the week will enjoy sunny intervals and temperatures ranging between 15C and 19C.

Friday, 8 October, will be the hottest day, with highs of 19C.

March

Following the same forecast as the remainder of the county, March can expect rain on Tuesday (October 5).

After then, temperatures will keep consistently around 18C, with a high of 19C on Friday (October 8).

Ely

The cathedral city will enjoy sunny intervals for the majority of the next two weeks, as temperatures range from 15C to 19C on the better days.

Though rain is forecast on Tuesday (October 5), Friday 8 October could see highs of 19C.
